What is GC Tooth Mousse?

Enamel repair cream that remineralises damaged tooth structure

Tooth Mousse for enamel repair and strengthening at Brisbane CBD dentist

Tooth Mousse contains Recaldent (CPP-ACP), a milk-derived protein that carries calcium and phosphate — the building blocks of tooth enamel. Unlike regular toothpaste that sits on the surface, Recaldent binds to teeth and releases minerals over time.

Clinical studies show it repairs early decay, reduces sensitivity, and protects against acid erosion. We recommend it for patients with weak enamel, dry mouth, reflux, or high decay risk.

Key Benefits:

  • Repairs early-stage decay (white spots)
  • Strengthens weakened enamel
  • Reduces tooth sensitivity
  • Neutralises acid from bacteria and diet
  • Protects during orthodontic treatment

How to Use Tooth Mousse

Simple daily application for best results

Step 1

Brush and Floss First

Clean teeth absorb more minerals. The mousse can't penetrate through plaque, so start with a clean surface.

    Step 2

    Apply a Pea-Sized Amount

Use your finger or a soft brush to spread a thin layer over all tooth surfaces. A little goes a long way.

      Step 3

      Leave for 30 Minutes

Don't rinse, eat or drink. The longer it stays, the more minerals absorb. Night-time application is most effective — your saliva flow drops while you sleep, giving the minerals more time to work.

        Step 4

        No Need to Rinse

Excess original Tooth Mousse dissolves in saliva and continues releasing minerals — no need to spit. If using Tooth Mousse Plus (with fluoride), spit out any excess rather than swallowing.
