Everyone wants straight front teeth but often patients don’t want to have full comprehensive orthodontic treatment to straighten all their teeth. This is mainly due to cost and the time required to achieve the results when straightening every tooth. This has led to the development of short term orthodontic treatment (STO) where only the front teeth are straightened and the less aesthetically concerning back teeth are untreated.

Not everyone needs or wants to have all their teeth aligned with comprehensive orthodontic treatment. Some patients are only looking for an aesthetic enhancement of the front teeth within a desired timeframe. Short term orthodontic treatment provides patients with this option when their misalignment is mild.

Because only the front teeth are treated, the length of time needed for treatment to be completed is much reduced. Treatment duration may be as quick as 4 weeks and commonly within 6 months, depending on the complexity of the case.

Because the duration of treatment is much reduced, the cost of treatment is also much reduced, making it more affordable to patients.

6 Month Braces!

In most cases, Quick Straight Teeth can provide you with straight front teeth in approximately 6 months. A typical case using virtually invisible braces with clear brackets and a white colour wire involves:

• 30 minute free consult
• 1 hour recording taking appointment
• Quick Straight Teeth orthodontists help analyse and plan
• 1.5 hour appointment to attach clear brackets and white wire
• 1 or more monthly reviews and placement of new wire
• Teeth movement complete
• New records for analysis and making retainers
• Insertion of retainers

Because patients wanting short term orthodontics are concerned about the appearance of their front teeth, unlike other brands, Quick Straight Teeth only provide aesthetic treatment appliances. They provide an invisible braces system using white brackets and tooth-coloured wires to make their braces nearly invisible in the mouth. The braces put gentle pressure on the teeth to level and align them with minimal discomfort. There is no need for severe tightening and the associated discomfort commonly associated with conventional braces. Their removable appliances are based on orthodontic aligners, which being clear and thin are also virtually invisible in the mouth when worn. They are more comfortable due to reduced bulkiness compared to conventional removable appliances.
